New York Business Hall Of Fame

Welcome to the New York Business Hall Of Fame Web site.  Our statewide organization recognizes business leaders throughout New York State that have demonstrated a long record of successful management, expertise and business skills along with noteable achievements.  Various business leaders will be chosen each March that have displayed a significant and meaningful impact within their industry and perhaps in other markets as well.  In addition, several New York-based companies are also inducted into the New York Business Hall Of Fame that have demonstrated an exceptional role as a businesses entity in the state. 

General qualifications for nominees include 15 or more years as business professional, accomplished leadership role(s), exceptional community and civic involvement and a unique success story to tell.  The qualifications for companies include operations for 10 or more years, community involvement and a proven industry leader.

As well, each year a graduate student concentrating in business studies at a New York college or university is chosen and presented with a scholarship award to support their studies.  Nominations for this award will also be solicited online.

From Brooklyn to Binghamton to Buffalo, the New York Business Hall Of Fame will begin on November 1, 2009 to accept nominations of New York companies and business leaders for induction into the New York Business Hall Of Fame in March 2010.  We are also are seeking corporate sponsors for the 3 different sponsorships packages that we offering starting as well.
